something ya have ta live with it's hard coded in the exe. Unless you use the .cts physics version then you don't have this problem. :021:

That's incorrect... there is a fix to it... but Denis will need to redo the make_a_cup.3do file and post it for an update.

There was one for the NSCS10v1 mod called an online rideheight fix.

The problem is, when you raise the player car, it raises the AI cars as well, so they look like Monster Trucks running down the straightaways. Online, it's not that bad because everyone online looks the same height. So that's why they call it the Online Rideheight Fix.

You can modify ALL cars offline, but not just a player car... the AI raise up as well.... that's why they look like 4WD trucks.

Makes me wonder why the game was made that way and why there wasn't an offical fix in the first place

I found a I guess "fix" to it. Go into the series def file and change the 0 to 2. This will make the cars go the speeds of cup and drive like the cts physics with a cts setups the ones you can use. The only problem is you can't change what car your driving otherwise the game will crash, so you hafta go in and out of that file changing it from 0 to 2 every time you wanna change schemes or cars.

BCR has a 2010 carset for download on the front page of their site.... so your complaint is a moot point.

It just makes you sound like your too damn lazy to download them and unappreciative of the hard work that went into either the 2009 or 2010 cars.

We can build mods, paint cars and organize leagues for folks to race in, but you still have to actually push a download button to get it to your own computer...

Actually about as much work as you posting that post above complaining about it. That's ironic.

   your always making good points robert.  The only difference in the cup10w default cars(2009 carset) and the actual 2010 cars is a download button and about 5 secs to look for the carset. I'm on my driod (cell phone) right now and even on here I can pull it up. So if a cell phone can do it you should be able to do it on a cpu.
