i got the regular render figured out now im wonder how to do the double car and put a background, any help appreciated

Make sure your model is grouped ( 1 0bject ) ...right click or go in the edit menu... select clone... Rename or leave as is...You now have a copy that you can move around...

For the background: Rendering menu... Environment... Select use map... get tour pic... Then go to the Views menu ... Viewport Background...Select "use environement background" and click on "display background" to see it in the viewport window... That's the basic ! Also when using Brazil, you have to enable the csg server in the render options and apply a Mate/Shadow material for the shadows to disable the default plane (floor)...

i need a scene i cant work with 4 different cameras like the scene on here for download

Go check out my merge scenes tutorial here. It will help you pick up some basic pointers about max.

I will try to do another tutorial on how to do a few basic things in max.
