Incredible battle in her class, as 3 past race winners were bumper to bumper on the final lap
She took the lead with 4 to go, got hit by the #28 of Kole Holden in the left rear in turn 2 on the final lap. Holden and the #2 of Sam Weaver would get under her as she bounced off the outside steel guardrail, she would keep her speed up enough to make it 3 wide into turn 3 with her on the inside. Weaver in 2nd would make contact with Holden, Kayla would make contact with Weaver, finishing off Holden as she pushed Weaver home for the win. She would finish 2nd.
It was awesome 3 lead changes in 90 feet of track on the last lap.
Only 9 karts started the final indoor event in her class. She started 5th in the feature.
We can't wait to go back in November
