Logitech Pedal Question
« on: 02/07/10, 11:17 PM »
when looking at my settings i see combined (single axis) i have read that having that box checked works in nr2k3 better? is that true or does it make better car control with brake and accelerator pedal on seperate axis?

I run on 2 axis. That way I can stay in the gas, while applying the brake......

Kayla asked me awhile back as we were driving around town, why I use the same foot for the brake and gas in the truck. I said because thats how I drive a vehicle. She says well when i'm racing my kart and watch you race online, we both use 2 feet. So I came back with while your racing are you stopping completely or just setting the kart to get in the corner ? So that made more sence to her. I told her alot of people I know drive their regular vehicles with 2 feet and theres nothin wrong with that. Just do whatever is most comfortable. Then she asked to drive the truck............I think she was serious.

lol, good story. thanks for the input. i dont know for some reason running both on the same axis is easier for me and i dont spin out as much but i still use both feet.

i tried 2 axis before and had the same problem - spinning out - so i went back to one axis

a bit ago i saw a thread ( not sure where ) about adjusting settings in the profiler- you may want to experiment with the sensitivity and dead zone - i found that about 20% sensitivity and 2% dead zone allowed me to get on the brakes pretty hard and stay in control -im still getting used to it

but if you win you cant do a burn out on the single axis :( sad

hell i still cant do a proper burnout on 2 axis yet - all i get is smoke from my locked up f left tire
i hope i figure it out before i get lucky and win a league race - given the compitition i dont think i have to worry about it
