I based this one off a Vintage Hot Wheels Racing diecast I saw in a store. I think their model was a '67 Impala or something like that, but I thought the paint would look good on a '50s Ford.

Ever since the first glimpse of this mod, I keep thinking it reminds me of the old SSP Smash Up Derby cars my friend had when we were kids.
So there needed to be at least one demo derby car in the bunch. Flames began life as Sage's, but became spray painted versions. |

Pok-A-Dots Drive Inn was one of my favorite places to eat in Spearfish, South Dakota during my college years at Black Hills State University. It was one of those classic drive ins with car hops that you had to believe at one time wore roller skates.

Rooster Rush is a pheasant hunting promotion the South Dakota Department of Tourism runs each fall. For the last three years it has included sponsorship of a Minnesota Vikings game with giveaways for fans like a hunting trip with Chad Greenway, an ATV, or a shotgun.
