Title: Merging OLD Downloads2 into Downloads

Hey guys,

We are in the process of merging the old Downloads 2 section of the site into the main downloads software.

There's roughly 2600 files in the old section and we just moved 2368 of them this morning.

We're using a custom script we wrote to do this automatically... but some files might end up missing or a render for the file might be missing. If you see something funky in the Downloads please let us know.

UPDATE: The file move is done! 3835 Files are now in 1 Downloads location! 24 Painters now have new files in the downloads!

Robert i was looking things over yesterday and the only thing i was wondering will we be able to tag the files as our work?

Hey Joe,

Unfortunately, it looks like we didn't do as well as planned for assigning painters for each entry. The script was originally designed to look for username matches, such as you, for example. But it didn't look for capital letter changes... jopajoe/JopaJoe. So clearly your's didn't make it over under your name. It looks like only a few did.

What we did to get this far has taken us about 16 hours of work so far... I don't want to think about redoing all that just to change the Author. There's no way to edit that either, but I just added a field called Painter which can be edited. I'll just have to make you moderator in the downloads so you can edit entries and update your listings that say RG Crew.

Thanks Joe. We have to get the old site cleaned up, since the software is 4 years out of date.

I just wanted to try to keep all the old files, that's alot of work we did over the years there to just let it go to waste.

Yes Sir i agree alot of the site History there includeing the Rock and Roll cars that drew me here and on to the crew here

Alright guys! We are DONE with the move from Downloads2 over to Downloads.

25 out of 29 painters have all their files properly attributed to them under their own name in the new Downloads. The other 4 don't have profiles here anymore and those files were added to a new Profile called RG Crew.

Skot71 added 22 new files today
