LMPv2 Night Track Dash Replacements
« on: 08/15/10, 11:10 AM »
Does anyone know how to replace that crappy-looking blurred night-track LMPv2 dash/gauges? I was able to add a new dash/gauges set adopted from an older CUP mod to get the DAY tracks to show a nice-looking dash, but when I load a NIGHT version track then the dash reverts back to the old original LMPv2 dash. Any tricks that would allow the day version of the dash/gauges to show up for a night track?  Or does anyone have a collection of updated dash/gauges for LMPv2 that work for both DAY and NIGHT tracks?

using winmip, you should be able to find all the night gauge mips and open them up. It's been literally forever since I opened one, but I think they have a 'n' designation in the name.

Just find them all in the .dat file, and make copies of your day versions with the new names and drop em in your main lmv2 folder. then the day versions will be night versions as well.
