Mod mainback screen
« on: 12/08/09, 09:50 PM »
I was wondering, how to convert a .jpeg or.bmp image to a mip file to use as a mod mainback screen. I have Winmip 2. Do I use this program or another one?

winmip is the right one... just open the .bmp file with winmip and on the image itself, use the drip down box to select a 'mip' file where it currently says bmp and the choose File>Save As in the upper left corner of the program.

Now go check it out.

Whenever I open my .bmp file, it shows up as an empty file. There is nothing there. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

OK, I got it figured out Robert. I had to save my image in .tga format and then Winmip opened it correctly. Thanks for your help Robert!!!!
