#28 McReynolds LMPv2

Hey guys. this is my first post here. I like how this site supports the lmpv2 mod and helps keep it going. i like painting so i thought id chip in and paint a few late models myself. I dont know how to do ratings on car files to make them competitive but if someone would help me out and if anyone wants this i'd be more than glad to share. i'll be doing some more very soon, just need somewhere to post them. its not 100% accurate but i got it as close as i could.

Looks good greg, you might try posting them at www.nnracing.com

They have a public upload section there.

Great job.  I thought about doing that one after seeing some video of the Bailey's 300 and searching his website.  My only suggestion would be to make the contingencies larger.  Look forward to seeing more.

As for ratings, everyone has their own ways of doing them.  Generally, I'll have pretty high ratings (low & high) for front-running cars.  Somewhere around high-80's to almost maxed at 100.  Mid-pack cars probably from 60 to 85.  And, I always keep my aero consistent since these cars must conform to templates and there's little leeway otherwise..  I use 75 low and 80 high, I think.  .gns physics don't have great drafting characteristics like the .cts physics.  Plus, these cars are fairly sleek and low...and don't generate much draft anyways.

A fair amount of painters don't rate their cars.  I do, plus include crews.

I usually do a block of cars @ one time. Say 10 of the front-runners. Adjust their ratings individually till they seem right. Then move to mid packers, etc. Nice car by the way. i prefer the look of the more aero dodge temp, but to each his own.

You don't need to be a registered member to download files at FBR.  To download, simply click the little "disk" icon to the left of the file description.  I know to upload you need to use FireFox.  But, don't think it makes a difference to download.  If you continue to experience the same problem, get in touch with me and I'll pass it along.  Thanks for stopping by.
