JUST WANTED TO SAY HI!
« on: 10/19/10, 06:37 PM »
Hey Guys,
Just wanted to drop by and say Hi! Been a long time and I sure miss racing with You guys. I am glad that after 11 months of being without a job that I am working. But driving a big truck leaves Me little time to do anything else. I get about one night at home a week and then its back on the road, that is the only way for right now to make any money.  Right now I am sitting in a motel room in Laredo TX. I have a new lap top that is capable of running the game ,but its too much trouble to carry around all My stuff. I hope that I can get a home every night job, but for right now I will have to the over the road thing. Hope too be back on the track with You guys soon trading paint.

Good Luck with Your Racing, :13:
Daryl

It's good to hear from you Daryl, and really glad to hear your working! The economy is tough still, so having a job is a good thing for sure!

We're still racing, but have cut it back to 1 night a week this season, but the racing is as exciting as ever!

Keep in touch man!

Daryl glad to hear that you are doing fine.  Hey I know excatly what you are doing as I drove over the road myself.   I love driving truck and the money is great, but I do like being home also.   I drove for Grassmid Transport out of Zeeland Michigan and they sure are a good company to work for and if it had not been for the job I have now I would still be out over the road.  I'm working for a huge pharmacutical firm by the name of Perrigo now in Allegan Michigan, infact I was rolling through Fayetteville North Carolina when I got the phone call from them to come in for an interview and work for them.   That has been almost two years ago and I really love my new job and they have put me out in one of there Semi's hauling product around town and I'm home everynight, well everyday as I'm working 3rd shift and have to sleep during the day.   But I sure do enjoy having allot of weekends off and being home, but like I said I love driving truck as I worked in the Paper industry for 27 years until they closed down and then I took advantage of state funded education and got my CDL and that was the best thing that I ever did.   So keep pounding the pavement and working the phone on those long straights of highway calling and getting ideas of whats available back home in your area then when you do get home do as I did and drop off resumes at prospects and I guarantee you wil get results sooner or later.

Take Care,
Steve Wright
