Dale's standard paint scheme, the popular and long standing Black #3. Unlike the 2001 and the 2000 No Bull 76th Win, the Plus portion of the text on the hood of this car is red over the black background. The differences between this and the 1999 standard paint scheme include the Burger King Decal being the new corporate logo - circular pattern around the world as opposed to the "Hamburger Bun" look. The Purdue decal under the Snap-On decal in front of the rear wheel well in the 1999 version is not present on the 2000. The rear angle frame also has the Realtree logo. Dale would finish this season 2nd, 265 points behind champion Bobby Labonte.
