Miller Brewing is re-releasing the original Lite can for a limited time & they also have a tie-in with Keselowski, so I figured I'd make a layered version of the 'A Fine Pilsner' logo. Turned out to be a whole lot more difficult that I originally had thought (big lack of big reference shots). So then I figured I'd wait until the cans were released, snag one, cut it up, scan it and redraw from there. But I was so far into the project that, in the long run, it was easier to simply re-draw every single aspect of the logo (correct Lite logo & Pilsner lettering, hops, barley, etc.).
And that's the tale of the Pilsner logo. |
