There were 26 Main Event Outlaw Super Late Models back in the pits for the Carter Lumber 75. Some included Current Points leader Jimmy Carter, 4-time defending champion Gary Whipkey, Tim"The ICEMAN" Ice, Scott Baker, and of course our cars Donnie"Zero"Hill and Jeremy Dennis. Scott Baker looked like the one to beat. He was fast all day, but he screwed up in qualifying and q'ed 7th. Gary Whipkey, who got fast time, drew the "8" pill which put Scott and Doug Sommers on the front row. Scott looked like the odds on favorite, he blew off and oil line and his race was over.

Then Doug Sommers took his chance at leading. Until about lap 35, when 5-time MERS champion, and 2 straight winner at Midvale, Gary Whipkey got around Doug, and Gary NEVER looked back taking home his 3rd straight at Midvale. Donnie had a rough go the first 50 laps, being held up by the 96 of Stansell. but once he got around him, Donnie made his way to 5th, passing ths spinning Doug Sommers on the white flag lap. Jeremy Got caught up in a wreck. But none the less Gary Whipkey showed his love and dominance at Midvale. We as a team are getting better, here pretty soon we all hope to have him in victory lane, the next two(Kil-Kare-Columbus(Our home Track)) We have been good at in the past, so we hope to have a chance. But for now, ill see you at Kl-Kare on Friday, hope to have story up ASAP. ENJOY!
