Original Cup Tire & Wheels
« on: 12/27/15, 10:33 AM »
Does anyone know if the original Cup tires & wheels have been updated, I searched several sites and did not find Goodyears, only different makes. I'd like to get away from the gray color that the standard tires are from Papy. Thanks for any help guys. garrett

I have these that say, in the Read Me file, that they are for the original CUP mod.
I opened the slow_goodyear in WinMip and they certainly are not gray.
Give 'em a try.

I went outside once. The graphics weren't all that great.

If you can't spill it, it ain't 'paint'!

Thank you so much SAGE, was trying to convert the mips from the dat file, done ok with the slow one, can't figure out how to get the spin on it though. I'm not the sharpest guy using PSP, any ideas, I have Photoshop also...I'll look into that in a while, wife wants to go for dinner. :)

Put them in, looks great, can't thank you enough.....

These work for both Original Cup and Cup 2000, works also in CWS15 Too

In Photoshop you take the 'slow' (no spin) .bmp and use the 'Radial Blur' in the Filter > Blur flyout. I forget the exact settings I've used in the past but by playing around with it you'll get the idea. Slight blur for 'medium' & lots of blur for 'fast'. Just remember to save each .bmp as you move along.

Like Sage mentioned using
"Radial Blur"

I have found from my dealings to get a medium, blur use "7" and for fast depending on the tire/rim either "10 or 14"
Keep Honking...................

I'm Still Reloading.............
