Topic: Lurn 2 Burn's Pontiac G8 Template

This may sound strange, but I downloaded this template, and there are no headlights, tail lights, or grill. Can anyone help me out?

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 and it's for DMR's Cup11s mod.

Your problem probably stems from PSP7's layers limitation (I believe that it's either 99 or 100). There are 112 layers in the G8 template. I don't recall if GIMP has layer amount issues or not but at least it's free.

There's always the option of looking for a newer version of PSP. There's some good deals to be had on ebay (it's where I snagged my PSP8 for dirt cheap ~ and with free shipping).

Just out of curiosity, what is the top most layer you see? I'm just trying to figure out where PSP7 starts dropping layers (bottom up, top down) is all.

Sorry Sage, but I'm not sure what you mean by top most layer.  Dave, I tried your template.There's a grill, but no lights.

Odd that you can get the grill and no lights as all the G8 parts are on one layer. Is the grill upper or lower? The lower one is a decal & not part of the 'G8 Parts' layer. And Dave's has more layers (115) than the one here at RG. Hmmm.

As to the top layer...this isn't part of the template, it's what PSP lists as the layers (it would be over on the side, separate from the template) so you can tell which part of the template you are working on.
