After I saw you racing in the legends million, as a west coast legends car driver I'm a fan of any driver with a bright career out of legends. I saw this article on NASCAR.com so I thought I'd share with you guys...

Wallace Steals The Show At Lee
Bold move on late restart gives rookie second East win
By Jason Christley, NASCAR
July 30, 2010 - 10:52pm

"LEE, N.H. -- Darrell Wallace Jr. made a three-wide pass for the lead with two laps to go and held on for the victory Friday in the K&N Pro Series 125 at Lee USA Speedway.

Wallace started behind Ryan Truex and Eddie MacDonald on the race's final restart. Truex and MacDonald had swapped the lead four times over the previous 35 laps, and appeared setting up for a final dash to the checkers for the win. But it was Wallace who had drove up through the field after getting tangled up in an early race incident and wound up stealing the spotlight. He dove inside the side-by-side leaders going into Turn 3, and emerged with the lead coming out of Turn 4.

It was the second NASCAR K&N Pro Series East win of the season for the 16-year-old Revolution Racing driver from Mobile, Ala. Wallace won the season opener in March at Greenville (S.C.) Pickens Speedway. That victory had made the Drive for Diversity member the youngest winner in series history.

Wallace, second in points, closed the gap on defending series champion Truex to 33 with three races remaining.

On a night when the track held a reunion for those involved in the series' New England roots, it was a top three finish for three teenagers who showcased the evolution of the series: Wallace was followed across the line by 18-year-old Truex from New Jersey and 17-year-old Brett Moffitt of Iowa.

MacDonald ended up fourth. The Rowley, Mass., driver seemed poised to win at his home track, where he made his series debut in 2001. He led five times for a race-high 65 laps only to get shuffled out of the lead in the final laps.

Cole Whitt finished fifth. Andrew Smith, Matt Kobyluck, Marc Davis, Kevin Swindell and Jorge Arteaga rounded out the top 10. Earlier in the day, Swindell won his first career Coors Light Pole Award, but was spun on a Lap 54 restart while battling MacDonald for the lead. Wallace, who was running third at the time, was among the cars that were involved in the pileup.

The K&N Pro Series 125 will air on SPEED on Thursday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. ET.

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will return to the track on Saturday, Aug. 28 at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, Ga."

Now that's what I'm talking about! Way to go Bubba! 33 points and 3 races left you're gonna have to go to work on this championship but you can pull it off! You've had a great year and I'm happy to see you making your way up!

I just read this too, Truex spun Darrell after the checkers!

LEE, N.H. -- The shortest track on the circuit produced some of the shortest tempers.

Darrell Wallace Jr. won the K&N Pro Series 125 to collect his second K&N Pro Series East victory of the season, but there were plenty of ruffled feathers in the aftermath. Runner-up and series points leader Ryan Truex spun Wallace on the cool-down lap, Wallace called Truex "a sore loser" and early race leader Kevin Swindell was miffed about the way in which he was taken out of contention.

The cool, autumn-like evening temperatures at Lee USA Speedway did nothing to chill hot tempers.

"We just kind of got shoved out the way there at the end," said Truex, who took the lead from hometown favorite Eddie MacDonald with less than 10 laps remaining and seemed to be on the verge of victory when the race was restarted with four laps left. "Eddie raced me hard and clean, and I've got to thank him for that.

"Things just happened at the end that were out of our control."

Wallace restarted third on Lap 121, but a bold three-wide move into turn three two laps later -- when he drove under both Truex and MacDonald -- stunned virtually everybody.

"I actually knew what was going to happen at the end -- they were going to wash up and I was going to go under them, so I was able to come up with the win," said Wallace, who was spun shortly after the checkered flag on the backstretch. "That was pretty low what Truex did to me right there. That's a sore loser right there, and I hope I take the championship away from him."

Wallace trails Truex by 33 points with three races to go.

Nice job dude. That'll get you in Nationwide! Way to mix it up with Truex. Not that I don't like him, but good to see you rubbing fenders. Good luck on the championship run. 33 points with 3 races, may be more exciting than the Cup series. I'm all the way in California, so I'm not sure if I get these races, but if I could, I'd totally watch them. Good luck man. Hope to see you in the big leagues soon.

You nailed that one. Great job! He's probably just pissed because he knows you can beat him. Now keep doing what your doing and win that championship!
