Topic: Nationwide Series to run at Road America

The Nationwide Series will have a race at Road America in place of the June 19 race at Milwaukee. Road america is a 4.048 mile road course with 14 turns in Elkhart, WI.

Did Mexico or Canada lose a race?

Mexico lost their race THIS year, it was replaced by Iowa. Next year Milwaukee Mile lost their Nascar races and nascar wanted to keep the N'wide series in Wisconsin.

With 70,000 attendance last year under the rain and a crazy race, I doubt they will let go ! Even the drivers were amazed seeing us getting soaked and keep cheering up !

Yeah, I'm glad to see Canada with a race. And it's one of the few Nationwide races I watch each year. I skim through the rest of them.

Also glad to see Mexico off the schedule. That was tough on the teams to get down there and the cost far exceeded the ROI for just about any team.

Mexico has been off the schedule for the last 2 years I believe...Milwaukee is the one being replaced.

2009 was the first year they missed. They ran there in 2008.

The Milwaukee Mile is going through owner changes with back monies owed to NASCAR and others. Open wheel will not be back ever most likely due to monies owed. Milwaukee will probably get their race back when the new owners get everything back in order. Road America is a temporary thing at the last minute.

Going to be an interesting race. Track is rather skinny for a whole lot of passing, but anything is possible.
