Topic: Highway 52 Track - Pre-Alpha Release!

Hey everyone,

Well, I was hoping I'd have time to at least make something worthy of being called an alpha release, but it looks like I'm going to have to settle for less, unfortunately!

Highway 52 is a 93.5 mile road course set between Rochester and Cannon Falls, Minnesota!

She's not pretty, but at least it's somewhat interesting!

Cool stuff, but the Minnesota I see when I cross the border has more trees.  Just kidding, I know how much work goes into building a track, especially when you are trying to do an accurate representation of real roads. Good luck finishing it up, looking great so far. Fun to see stuff from this part of the country.

Chadley, yeah there's a lot of work to do before any scenery goes up. I just went hiking with my girlfriend in the Bad Lands for the first time during fourth-of-July-weekend, and as soon as I got home I did a few laps on all your South Dakota tracks. Now that I've been over there I can really see how great your tracks are! Thanks for the great work!

Hey I really like this.  I wonder why the cars run sideways and backwards in replays?  I guess because its a pre-alpha.  Looks kind of funny though!!!!!

Yeah, the replays are pretty strange beyond a certain point on the track! The "sidewinder" thing only happens with the player's car though. The opponent cars seem to work just fine, except for TV1 and TV2 when the game runs out of cameras!
