Quote
I want to acknowledge a very special person on our team who has decided to retire from the sim community. Most of you know him as ib4jr and some of you know him as Terry as I do. Terry has been painting cars for us for at least 2 years, and has been making templates for mods longer than that. He's got mad design skills and produces paint schemes faster than just about anyone (excluding Dave of course...).

This announcement is not about why, but simply to say, I'm really sorry to see Terry leave the community, and there will definitely be a gaping hole that will be really hard to fill here at RG. The NSCS2010 Mod that was just released is Terry's last set of templates, and the car you see here, was his last paint scheme posted.

If you would take a minute to Thank him in the comments here, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you Terry, you've been a great friend and colleague, I'm gonna miss you brother.

I'm a bit shocked, and I will definitely miss Terry's work, which I always found top notch. And if the Tabasco car ends up really being his last, it is a perfect illustration of his great talent. Personally, I'll always see the two "Johsonville Brats" cars he painted for me as true masterpieces, and I regret he won't be around to port this magnificent livery on the new Rioux COT platform.

Whatever his reasons for his retirement might be, I will always see him as a very important member of the sim racing family, and I hope he'll pay us a visit from time to time.

Godspeed Terry. You'll be missed.

Terry, I'm sorry I haven't been around long enough to get to know you.  Going by what the rest of the guys have said, I'll be missing out.  But if this is what your heart is telling you to do, then enjoy your time off.  Stop in and say hey from time to time.  You can critique my paints and tell me what I'm doing wrong!
