This week was the opening weekend for racing at my local track, the Waterford Speedbowl. The team I was crewing on brought three brand new racecars to the opener, a ministock and two street stocks.
All three are now junk.
Front hoop is ~1 foot pushed to the left.
Bent A-Arms, radiator is broke, bent the seat, and did one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen happen to a wheel.
That's how the other SS finished the race, not really much damage aside from sheetmetal, needs a new front bumper though.
Moral of the story....don't bring brand new racecars to the season opener...
