I've got a project going, and... does anyone know where I could get a 3d model of a 79-93 Ford Mustang?

sure... in the 1990 Scanline 3ds max scene is a T-bird that the 1990 Mustang template fits... take a look at the render in the templates section for the Mustang template I made.
