So you want to use the numbersets from Racin Grafix and other sources on the web for your NR2003 paint schemes, but you don't know how to use Photoshop very well? This week we will take a very basic look at how to create a number for your car and change the colors and outline on it. This tutorial is for the newest of beginners using photoshop. You Paint Shop Pro guys can probably figure out how to do it by watching this video, the concept is the same, but not every tool will be in the same place. If you have any questions or comments, just reply here in the forums and we will try to get you up and running. Also, let us know what you want to see as far as tutorials go and we will try to get them done for you! Thanks for your support of Racin Grafix!

Great tutorial Robert. I use PSP and have always wanted to learn photo shop. I know there are lot of tutorial out the but if they aren't showing me what to do painting on templates I am lost. I am the type of guy you can tell me a 1000 times but until you actually show me like you just did I want learn a thing. Keep up the good work and some time when you have time ( a real big LOL) you could set up a night on team speak and maybe talk some of us want to be painter how to use that dam pen tool or just make a tutorial on making stripes.
Have a good evening

I'm glad some of you guys are getting to check this out... I would do one on PSP, but haven't used that program for over 3 years now... so I would be really clunky using it.

I want to do more... but the time... lol.

Just a quick question, what version of Photoshop is the best for painting?  I am currently using Paint Shop Pro 8.10 and know nothing at all about Photoshop.

Thanks
Tom

It's all personal preference Tom... I've seen some great painters that use PSP... like IB4JR for one... It's all in how you use the software really.

Personally for me, I have Photoshop CS3 because of my day job doing websites, but I painted with PSP 8 forever.

Thank you very much for the tutorial on Photoshop.
I´ve been painting with PSP 9 for some time now and X2 lately, but since I updated my grpahics card to an Nividia 9800GTX with the latest Nvidia original drivers, both stopped working. I checked Corel Corp. site and they say their PSP software is not compatible with some Nvidia drivers and suggest to update them, which I did with no positive results.
So, I am learning again :)
