Paint question in 3ds max

I know how to clone a car in 3ds max but how do I go about putting a different paint on each one???

I found grabbing a clean ball in your map box  marked default and take the eye drop and clicking on the car you want ..that way each car has is own paint ball...if you change cars or such you can keep using the same ball  for diffident cars you put in the scene ...the first scene you opened will all ready have one set so set a new ball for the other car .
