Smoke's scene is a good scene, just has a slight glitch!

Just an FYI on the black spot.. it's the inner panels showing through as a shadow.

You would need to ungroup the truck from the wheels, then click on the modifier tab over on the top right of max, and click on polygons and remove or move those inner panels down. I personally deleted every poly on the inside of all 4 models and redid the inner panels to remove those artifacts.

It's not smoke's fault, it's because the models they released for renders are the carviewer models converted to 3ds max. It's sufficient for renders, and keeps people from easily stealing them and putting them in rFactor. They just take more work to clean them up like the ones Dave uses above.

Although, I'm sure they have made their way there by now. Haven't seen them yet, but then again, I haven't been lookin.
