A few of ya were kind enough to send me a link for the new cup10 3ds scene....however when i open it i have a few issues i can't figure out.  First off the hood is open and can't figure out a way to close it and when i mess with rotating it and so on i can't get the scale right.  Second problem i have is when i drag the template over it looks good but whatever is painted on the driver side of the car it's drapped accross the windsheild and shows up when i render so there is no windshield. someone suggested i get the addons which i downloaded but can't get them to load because it says they contain no files....I'm trying hard to figure it all out so i can actually make the new car without the splitter rods and i'm making myself more and more frustrated. Any and all help is much appreciated. Non brazil scenes for now because i don't have it.  Had a friend install his copy on my computer but it's not working.  Again thanks in advance for any help

I'm making you a video tutorial right now... give me about 15 minutes to finish it up and I will post it here on the site.

You can get the Cup11s render scene at www.desmodsracing.com that already has the 2011 cup body style. Then follow along here:

:Woot_Emoticon: that tutorial is helping massively. I'm still having the issues with the paint scheme being drapped across the winshield though. It almost seems as though i'm not doing something with the template when I'm painting as opposed to the scene.  You are the man and I appreciate all your help.

start with a new scene. Once you have dragged the material ball to the window by accident, you would have to find the windshield material ball and drag it to the window to fix it. Otherwise, every time you load a paint scheme it will show up wherever you have the material assigned to.

Hope that made sense.

If you start with a fresh scene, problem solved. just delete the folder and unzip a fresh one and start with that.
