Thoughts on the Nationwide Series?

What do you think?

I like where its heading with the new car... but I think the points standings and races need a major overhaul.... less cup guys more development.

i totally agree. i say cup guys that have been racing in the sprint cup more than 2 years should be inelligable. like kyle busch (who i despise) and carl edwards (whos not my favorite but cool). they dominate the league. rookies like logano who dont always get 1 and 2 finishes are fine with me though. i hate not whatching the race and knowing who won.

I have always said to move the series to short tracks like Wilkes, Toledo, Charlotte County, etc.. Cup guys with 2+ years experience can only attempt 7 races total. Offer an incentive and create a spec engine program like the touring series to encourage local and regional drivers to compete.

I agree, but limmit the races, or give them a separate championship.

I like the new cars, All muscle cars minus the Toyota. There muscle car is a Prius

I wouldn't exactly call the Impala a muscle car either, haha.  Have you seen what the Nationwide version looks like for the new car?  it's hideous.

I'd like to limit the number of cup regulars that are allowed each race, say 6 full time cup drivers per race, as many cup guys as want to can run qualifying, but only the top six get into the field, Nationwide and trucks should be more for developing drivers.

i agree they should put a bigger emphasis on short tracks....and have fewer weekends where the nationwide series runs at the same track as cup...that would make it harder for the cup guys to run and give the fulltime nationwide drivers a chance to establish their own personalities without the cup guys grabbing all the attention.
