Redline GTP Mod
« on: 05/10/15, 10:05 AM »
Hey guys, I have a small problem with my Redline GTP mod, it's version 1.1, sometime ago I placed a glass mip into whichever folder it went into, don't remember right off, but it made the windshields invisible, I then took it out right away, but the glass still remained invisible. I got angry with myself, didn't play it for a couple years. For the life of me, I can't find the problem. I've had this mod for a very long time, only race it on occasion, have set up a fantasy Mazda Challenge series, where only Mazdas are in the field. Anyone who could help me return the glass to it's normal state would be helpful. Hopeing I can fix this without having to un=install it and re-install it. Takes a while to do this since I have to rename other files in order for the install to not screw them up.Just wishing you guys might have a clue that would help me

Try the attached.
I found it hiding in one of my GTP folders.
I also found this:
"If you decide you don't want to use it anymore just unzip the ~Original Windshield Glass.zip in both the \series\RDgtp.....RDgtn directories."

I went outside once. The graphics weren't all that great.
I suffer from CDO. It's like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!
If you can't spill it, it ain't 'paint'!

Hey Garrett, I'dlike to see your cars when you get the windshield issue solved, maybe a screen capture of them or something, if you can.

Thanks for the reply Sage & Highbank, yes, I have that file and did that already, it didn't help. I can be so dumb at times, do something to one of my mods and then can't recover when I don't like the results. I guess I'll have to do a full reload.

First pic is before....
second is "after"

Highbank, I didn't paint those, they were some cars I found online years ago. I can't even give credit to the painter, don't know who it was.

Try here. He has all 4 templates, I'm sure there are other places that have them. I have the car viewer files if you need them.
