I've been a member for a while and visit the site routinely but today I thought I would make a request for a paint scheme and found that we now have to have 100 posts to make a request.
I've always been the quiet type and never posted much on any forums that I am a part of. Now I understand that rules are rules and don't expect any to be changed just because I have posted this but this is the best site I know of and full of the most talented painters, now I guess the days of N2003 are fading and not many sites still supporting it and now it looks like I will have to settle for a car that I can download rather than one of my own. It will drive the same of course but just not look near as good.

there are many sites that do paint requests.... outlaw paintshop, falcon grafix... both have great painters!

Actually the number is 50 to post, even though it was a 100 for a little while. I will go and change the sticky post.

The reason we did that is, as you said, NR2003 is fading, and we are down to 6 painters or so, when we had 16 just a year to a year and a half ago. I was tired of kids coming in and wearing us out with request after request for paint schemes. Then a week or two later they are gone.

It caused us to take a look at how we do requests now.

It's tough to find time to paint myself these days, I don't even paint cars for my own use and I haven't raced for a full 10 week season in over a year.

I understand, I have always been impressed with the generosity of the individuals that take time from their own life and things that they would like to be doing to do a favor for someone they know nothing about. Thanks to all who do this.
