Topic: does anyone here know how to make sound packs?

I have engine sounds i want to make into a engine sound pack but when i change their name to the proper (winston_idle ex.) name all of my engine sounds stop working.  Any reason why how can i fix this?

ok in answerd my question i had 44.000 freq and needed 20.500.  fixed that now i have great idle, back off high, mid, and low but my on throttle files just keep getting higher pitch until they sound horrible.  Does anyone know the file names that are allowed?  And what they do? Like the winnf_  files where do they play.  is there a web site dedicated to things like this? Thanks in advance!!!

Just kept playing with it got it working.  Is this a site where you can post your work?  Just want some feedback.  this mod is internal cot sounds my next mod is late model sounds because thats why i started this project anyways.  Is there a way to make the sounds switch with each mod?  Thanks again if anyone knows anything.

There is a place called www.nnracing.com that allows users to upload their car files, not sure about sound packs.

As for sounds for each mod, you would need to create multiple sound folders and swap them out for each mod.

Actually if you just put the sound files in the series folder you get those sounds with that series.  Just playing arround and found that.

i was always told that you had to have the same sounds for all mods
