can anyone point me in the right direction for a tutorial on how to render a car scene? ei. get a model and wrap a texture around it blah blah blah

You need 3ds Max to make renders like you see around here... cost=$3500.00

You can get the 'carviewer' megapack download here for free and it will let you see your car in a basic render... we use it for lining up paint schemes.

You just save your paint scheme as the 'card.bmp' file in the appropriate folder, then open the Carviewer.exe file and select file at the top, then select 'Open Direct X Mesh' and select the type car your working on from the folders.

I have 3dsmax.. i just need to figure out how to load a model and put a texture on it. im wanting to do several renders and don't want to ask people to do several a week, even a couple a day maybe.. so i figure i will try myself :)

Ok i think i've got the texturing under control.. could i get a link or something to the models? like the outlaw and bomber models? thanks.....
