#2 Mountain Dew Fusion

Finally, here's my last NNC car I have to bug you about for a while.  Huge thanks Dawsonville; you've been a huge help.  Hopefully all this crap lines up the first time and I get lucky.

Haha, thanks Dave.

I'm pretty psyched to see how this one comes out, I've never used patterns and kind of got carried away with the engine-turned layers that are in the downloads...

Sorry to overload you with renders.  Feel free to postpone these babies until tomorrow or whenever if you're busy.

That looks great!  The green engine turned layer almost looks like scales on a lizard.

Thanks guys!

The engine-turned "metal look" came from a set of layers available for download here on Racin Grafix.  I then applied the tutorial from the Painters section of this forum combined with my own intuition and made the numbers.  I then used the Dot Wave from PSP 9 amd combined it with the engine-turned metallics to make the vinyl on the side of the car to make it appear a little different than the number.

I'm glad you like it skot71.  PS: #71 is my number!  lol

AH!  I guess we'll have to share.  I had a model of Bobby Isaac's #71 Daytona when I was a kid and always liked that car, so I picked that number.  Always used 71 when I ran R/C cars and now into the N2003 stuff.

Haha, yeah...I guess we'll have to share:  My dad ran a #71 Pro stock before moving to a #7 SLM for a few years....so I figure I'll run #71. I was considering running #72; but I knew if I ever got into anything meaningful I would conflict with Scott Hantz so I stayed #71:
