I think not. Look at Kyle Busch.

I think they should, but if they say they do it just to win, maybe their points shoudn't count.
What do you call 10,000 Restrictor plates at the bottom of the ocean?
A Good Start.

You might be a NASCAR fan if you can remember every driver and their car number but can't remember how old your children are!

yes, but no points for them, none at all. if they want the practice, they can race with them. with no points less sprint cup drivers will race in the busch (or whatever its called now) which gives more busch drivers a chance to compete. and a busch driver will win the championship instead of a sprint cup driver. a busch driver that finishes 25th in a season with sprint cup drivers, will now finish 10th, and he has more chances to get a good solid sponsor, and possibly a sprint cup ride. if he joins the sprint cup at the beginning of the new season, he can still practice in the lower series every week for no points. when if a busch driver joins the sprint cup in the middle of the season, he will be able to compete for points in both series.

I agree with Nick.I mean, what's the point of running in the Sprint Cup Series, if all you are going to do is keep running in a lower series? If you are going to compete in a lower series, you have no business in Sprint Cup!! NASCAR should definitely look more into this situation, oh.................wait...............they don't really care!!!!!!!!

i think that every driver should be given X-number of starts in the top three series, say 45 starts all year. This way if a driver wants to win the cup championship their goes 36 of his starts, now have fun with the 9 starts in grand national and trucks.........Then again nascar could care less as long as one of there poster boys is in the winners circle at the end of the day.

I think they should be able to whatever they and theirs sponsors want them to do. If you dont like seeing cup guys dominate the nationwide series, then watch some other series. The cup guys in the N'wide series is a part of nascar and has been for 20 years.

As far as what I would like is NO cup drivers in the Nationwide or the truck series because the younger talant can not prove them seleve with the cup guy's winning every time they are on the track plus the cup guy's get all the tv air time. The only time Nationwide driver gets air time is when they wreck or get recked.

As far as Aflac99 not going to argue with you but when the Nationwide was the Bush series the cup guy's only ran on avg. of 15 races a season. The Nationwide series use to be one of the best sreies of racing every week there was a different winner now 99% of the winners are cup drivers. One other thing is if cup teams are running thee Nationwide series put a younger driver in your car and earn you sponcers not by them like they do.

Imo I think nascar should put there foot down and say no cup guy's in either of the other series unless a team driver is injured or taken ill and let the Nationwide series come back to the 90's younger drivers and younger talent and the cup guy's ran even to the Bush teams. Can't say much on the truck side because that series because they are what nascar needs to be COMPETIVE not 5 drivers winning 95% of the year.
