K&N West Series Cars
« on: 08/05/10, 04:57 PM »
Hey guys I've been working on possibly doing a full West Series carset, I started a few days ago and I've been trying to do a car every day so I thought I'd show you some of the cars I have so far.

Forgot to add the car...

This was the first car I painted, Eric Holmes, who drives the No. 20 for Bill Mcnally racing. I included a real picture for reference. Please let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions!

Thanks!

Here's the second car I painted, the No.15 of Jack Sellers. Please let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions!

Oh and I forgot to mention if anyone would like the .car files to use please let me know and I'll be happy to post them.

Thanks!

The first one looks great. The second one does to... but the only problem I see is the base on your car cuts off. They look nice though... great job. :13:

Very nice--I like the grn-wht Sellers car. I remember the series when it was called Winston West. Harvick, Hornaday and others came out the series. Such were the days of Mesa Marin Speedway in Bakersfield.

Hey thanks for the input guys I really appreciate it. Corey, yea there are a couple things like that, that unfortunately I didn't notice until after the render, ( I do all my photoshop on a mac so I can't use carviewers) but I fixed them on the car files, I just don't want to make Dave have to redo all the renders after I make mistakes. And I'm not gonna point out the other mistakes and maybe no one will see them lol

And Arclight, I really like how Jack Sellers designed that car, I know he isn't much of a frontrunner anymore but I felt that was an important car to do, that guy is a legend in the Winston West he has 300 or so starts and considering their seasons only have about 15 races, that's pretty impressive.

Thanks for the comments!
