Video of Keselowski's crash: http://www.nascar.com/video/cup/2010/post_race/highlights/03/07/cup_atl_high_two.nascar/index.html

I hope NASCAR suspends Carl for at least 2 races.
What do you call 10,000 Restrictor plates at the bottom of the ocean?
A Good Start.

You might be a NASCAR fan if you can remember every driver and their car number but can't remember how old your children are!

He should be suspended for life!!!  That was stupid B.S.  I thought Edwards was a little smarter than that..  Brad could have been killed, not to mention the safety of the fans in the stands....

The thing I'm most impressed with is Keselowski being concerned for people in the stands. He asked about that before he even got out of the car. I you remember back to Edwards' flip at Talladega last year, he didn't know there were injuries in the stands until he had left the track. Didn't even think to ask about it apparently. I used to like Carl, but had a feeling this was in his personality somewhere.

Glad BK is okay, glad no one in the stands was hurt. Especially after a death in the stands at an NHRA drag racing event just a week or two ago.

Wow, pretty obvious.  The white gloves gave it away.  I'm not neccessarily a fan of Keseolowski, but used to be a fan of Edwards.  Not after this.  Like you guys said, totally uncalled for.  Glad everyone is OK.

Yea, I noticed that too that Brad ask about the fans..That was really spupid on Carl's part, Nascar should come down on him hard for what he did.  No call for that.
NASCAR 2003, DO I NEED TO SAY ANYTHING MORE!!!!!

ENJOY LIFE NOW - IT HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE!!

When I first saw the crash I thought he was dead. If Carl is not suspended, Brad's not going to take him out at Bristol, he'll take him out at Talladega and I'll be happy about that. The crash Carl says he took Brad out for was not even Brad's fault. Completely idiotic move by Carl.

Better to be taken out at Bristol than Atlanta...  This kind of crap should be limited to the short tracks, on one of the fastest tracks in NASCAR..

This kind of stuff shouldn't happen at all. Race tracks in general are to fast to be wrecking others on purpose. Even on local short tracks drivers need to remember they are strapped into a lethal weapon that needs to be used appropriately. The thing I found most amazing was that Carl said he didn't think the car would lift off like that, when the current car has done exactly that for the last year or so, not sure what he was expecting to happen but he definitely wasn't thinking. Not to mention the fact that Brad was running 6th & Carl was 156 laps down, completely uncalled for & stupid.

There is always going to be "payback" to a certain degree, but it should not be done on the superspeedways, wait a couple of weeks and "turn'em" at Bristol or Martinsville....the speeds are just too high and the cars too unstable currently on the big tracks...

All NASCAR needs is to have one of the 3400 lb missiles going through the catchfence and into the crowd....

Actually, if one of us had done something like this on the highway, we would be sitting in jail right now being charged with assault with a deadly weapon......

Here is my take...(and yes I don't like Kes as you can tell by my avatar, but I'm trying to be as neutral as I can.)

What Carl did was wrong, there is no denying that. A fine and some points should and will be taken away from him.

But..
1. Kes is an idiot and had this coming. (No, I'm not referring to the incident earlier in the day.. Kes was not at fault for that...but past incidents he has proven himself a moron...his lack of friends his coming back to haunt him.)

2. This is being blown out of proportion due to the fact that Kes went airborne...Carl didn't intend that...he wanted to wreck him (still wrong), not send him flying. I've seen payback happen before...this was one of those freak crashes.

Today is a perfect reason why you can't just let the boys race and settle their disputes among themselves.
